The Biscarrosse family surf camp is located directly behind the dunes in an idyllic pine forest. In the immediate vicinity are two large lakes where you can experience some adventures together. In our camp we offer every family member the right leisure opportunity.
Come by and let yourself be enchanted by the most beautiful region on the French Atlantic coast. Our camp consists of ten residential units to ensure a pleasant and family atmosphere. There is a separate kitchen, a playground for the kids and an outdoor gym for the adults. You can play table tennis, beach volleyball, boule and football on the large sports facility. In addition to a large swimming pool, our camp offers you a library, playgrounds, bouncy castles and a wellness area. We have also prepared a few other specials for your children in the camp. Biscarrosse and the Lake District
Biscarrosse is particularly well-known for its lake landscape and the idyllic flair of the region. Located just an hour from Bordeaux, it is the premier surf spot along France's Atlantic coast south of Bordeaux. The most beautiful hiking routes in Europe lead past the two large lakes in the immediate vicinity of the camp: including the "Tang de Biscarrosse", the largest lake in the region and an Eldorado for seaplane freaks. Here you can regularly see planes taking off and landing on the water.
In addition to the accommodation, we have a separate area in the camp with a kids' area for handicrafts, games and painting. The highlight of a surfing holiday is of course the beach: Here you can surf perfect waves, watch the pros and have lots of fun with the whole family. In Biscarrosse-Plage you can shop in the supermarkets, stroll along the small shopping street and visit various cafés and bars. Come by and spend a wonderful time with the whole family in our beautiful family camp.
In Biscarrosse, not far from the surf camp, you will find a huge water park, which is an absolute highlight, especially for the little ones. We also recommend all families a SUP tour along the nature reserve. This is also possible with children from the age of seven. As a Pure veteran, Ulli was the camp manager in St. Girons. Before that, the globetrotter managed the lodge in Portugal for some time. He is a passionate surfer himself and has a sunny disposition. Now he will make sure that you are having a great time in Biscarrosse!
Our Camping Lodges Deluxe for 2 to 4 people are ideal for families with up to 2 children! The master bedroom has a large, comfortable double bed (1.6 x 2m) and the children's bedroom has 2 single beds (0.8 x 2m). A fully equipped kitchen with induction cooker, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee machine and kettle awaits you. There is a bathroom with a shower and sink and a separate toilet. The Deluxe Lodge are furnished to a high standard and built with lots of wood and bamboo.
If you also want to cook for yourself or withdraw while eating, your lodge has a beautiful veranda with modern, comfortable furniture. Here you can of course also sit together comfortably in the evening.
Our new Supreme Camping Lodges can accommodate up to 5 people and are similar to regular Camping Lodges. However, they are newer, more modern, better divided and have a larger bathroom.
There are 2 separate bedrooms and a bathroom, toilet, kitchenette and a veranda.

Yoga is an extremely good addition to surfing and is practiced by many professional surfers on a daily basis. 5 times a week you have the opportunity to take part in a yoga session at the family surf camp Biscarrosse. On some days we can offer yoga on the beach. Unless it's windy. But mostly we go with you to a quiet clearing in the pine forest.
It's warmer, quieter and the floor is perfect. The yoga sessions are varied and are always adapted to the level of the group.
In our family surf camps we offer all children from 6 to 13 years an animation program. In the camp we have handicraft corners, batik opportunities and explore the forest with the offspring. Meanwhile, parents can enjoy some rest. The program takes place three times a week at fixed times. Of course, parents are also invited to take part in the animation game.
In the evening everyone comes together and the newly formed friendships are strengthened. During the theory lessons for the adults we organize a film night for the little ones.
In the own outdoor gym of the family surf camp Biscarrosse you can really work yourself out. There is a weight bench with an accompanying barbell and some weights. In addition, we have various dumbbells, terra bands and a pull-up bar. Everything is right next to the living area on a beautiful wooden terrace. You can train with sports shoes or barefoot. There are always a few other guests who want to do sports together. We also have a slackline that trains your sense of balance and is just fun if you want to try something completely different.
The campsite is equipped with a great pool area. Especially on hot summer days there is nothing nicer than walking a few meters to the pool and treating yourself to a refreshment. Here you can swim a few lengths or just put your feet up.
Very close to the surf camp and the large pool area of the campsite there is also a children's playground with bouncy castles, communal barbecue areas, basketball and soccer fields as well as beach volleyball courts, table tennis tables and boules courts that are illuminated in the evening.
You should definitely not forget your cameras on the excursions, because you will come through picturesque alleys and to panoramic viewpoints with a fantastic view over this northern Spanish pearl. With a full day trip, you either get back to camp in time so you don't miss dinner, or you simply make yourself some of the best tapas in the world! San Sebastián is located in the Spanish Basque Country, just 20 km south of the French border. The spacious bay, "La Concha", which is home to San Sebastián, is immortalized in countless holiday snapshots and, together with the old town, is a real highlight.
Biarritz is not far from Biscarrosse (approx. 1 hour by car) and is therefore worth a detour. The beaches in and around Biarritz are among the surfing strongholds of Europe and in July the pro surfer scene travels to take part in the Biarritzer Surf Festival.
The fifth largest city in France is about 2.5 hours by car from Biscarosse. Not only is it a university town, it is also the intellectual center of south-western France. As the name suggests, Bordeaux is also a popular destination for the wine of the same name, the cuisine and the cultural heritage.
Biscarrosse family surf camp is just a short hop from a large nature reserve. The core of the reserve consists of two large lakes where you can experience some peculiarities of the local flora and fauna. This is where we take you and your family on the SUP tours and explore the rivers and lakes of the region.

Your own arrival by car via Paris to Bordeaux, then continue on the A 63 towards Bayonne. Take exit 22 towards Archachon and follow the signs towards Dune de Pilat. From the Dune de Pilat it is 5 minutes to Biscarrosse and just before entering the town turn right onto the campsite. Arrival and departure is here on Saturdays!
Destination airports close to the camp are Bordeaux and Biarritz.
Direct flights from Germany are usually quite expensive, but there is the possibility of booking a cheap flight to London with Ryanair or Easyjet, for example. From London you can then take a connecting flight to Biarritz. From Switzerland you can fly cheaply with Easyjet from Geneva or Basel to Bordeaux and with Darwin Airlines from Geneva to Bordeaux and Biarritz.
