The small Surf Camp Bali / Padang on the southern peninsula of Bukit is located at the world-class surf spot Padang Padang and convinces with charm and quality. The white sandy beaches, reef breaks and surf guiding for all surf levels are a real highlight for the guests. The Surf Camp Bali / Padang consists of traditional Balinese built bungalows, mini-villas and a main house with a stylishly furnished lounge, billiard table and a dining area.
The buildings are lovingly embedded in the tropical garden with pool, yoga house and hammocks. You can always find a place to chill out after a successful surf in the garden, on the large terrace, in the camp house, pool or in the pavilion. WLAN access is optionally available to all guests. The camp is located on "Bukit", the southern peninsula of Bali, an hour's drive from the hectic shopping and partying paradise of Kuta. Small shops and cafes as well as Homebreak Padang Beach are a 10-15 minute walk away and the amazing surf spots such as Uluwatu, Bingin and Impossibles are within a 5 minute to a maximum of 10 minute drive.
The island of gods and temples is certainly by far the most famous island in Indonesia. It is not for nothing that Bali is one of the most beautiful tropical islands in the world and has been attracting surfers to the island with its countless top spots since the 1970s. Here you will find the beach, sea and waves, but also vibrant cities and lavish parties. A trip to the monkey forest, to the artist town of Ubud or to one of the many temples is also a must - because the nature and culture that you will find in Bali are unique in the world.
Uluwatu
Uluwatu is only 10 km away from Padang Surfcamp. This destination is worthwhile in several ways - for all experienced surfers this is a great spot in a beautiful setting. Uluwatu is also home to one of Bali's most impressive temples - a must for any visitor to Bali!
Single Fin
On Uluwatu's rocky coastline, perched above the sea and surf, you'll find Single Fin Bar. The hotspot for all surfers is especially popular in the evening hours. There are delicious dishes for dinner, cocktails and above all an impressive view. Later in the evening, the party begins under the starry sky - "Single Fin" should not be missing from your evening program!

Standard double room
On the upper floor of the bungalow is the twin/double room with fan cooling, whereby the traditional Balinese grass roof also protects very effectively from solar heating. For couples, the single beds in the rooms can also be made up as double beds. The residents of both bungalow floors share the bathroom of the bungalow.
Deluxe double room
On the lower floor of the bungalow is the deluxe twin/double room with air conditioning and two single beds. For couples, the single beds in the rooms can also be made up as double beds. The occupants of both rooms share the bathroom of the bungalow.

The deluxe 4-bed room is located in a Bali-style bungalow with a traditional grass roof and offers sleeping accommodation for 4 people with two bunk beds. Surf Shack
This spacious and private Bali style bungalow with traditional grass roof features an extra large king size double bed with mosquito net and air conditioning. The cozy bungalow also offers a TV with DVD player, a small private safe and a private, open-air bathroom.
Surf Shed
The luxury version of the bungalow has a spacious bedroom with an extra large king-size bed, a sofa bed, TV with DVD player and air conditioning.
An internal staircase leads to the gallery of the bungalow with two single beds and access to the roof terrace with a seating area. On the ground floor is the private bathroom and a garden with a porch and additional seating.

This allows you to surf the best running spots twice a day, get tips & tricks of the experienced guides and get to know Bali's world's best waves.
At the Padang Surfcamp Bali you have the opportunity to surf the homebreaks Padang Padang and Bingin near the camp with an experienced surf guide or to drive to the numerous world-famous spots on the Balinese southern peninsula of Bukit, which are only a few minutes' drive from the camp.
The guided surf tours take place Tuesday to Sunday and focus mainly on the surf spots in the area, but depending on the swell and wind conditions, surf spots that are further away are also visited, in which case you have to accept a longer drive. The surf guides of the surf camp Bali / Padang know their way around and know exactly which spot offers the best surfing conditions at which tide and which swell.
At dinner together, the plan for the following day is discussed every day, so that you go into the first session in the morning well briefed. The surf spots in the area are mainly suitable for intermediate and advanced surfers, but even experienced beginners can get their money's worth here with small swells and high tides.
Absolute surfing newcomers should book the camp's own surfing school, which is run by the Australian camp manager Josh, who, as a trained surfing instructor and with decades of surfing experience, will make it easier for you to get started in surfing. The surf school beginner course can be booked as a group class or private lesson.

The numerous beach breaks on our doorstep (e.g. HalfWay, Padma, KuDeTa, DoubleSix) are particularly suitable for beginners. This is where you will best surf your first green waves in Bali and perfect your take-off. These spots are considered world-class beach breaks. Even experienced surfers can get perfect rides here.
The material pool of the surf camp Bali / Padang consists of rental surfboards and is optimally adapted to the local conditions: Shortboards, mini-Malibus and soft topboards are available in different sizes and shapes. Leashes are of course included in the rental price, but you have to pay for any repairs to the surfboard yourself.
Booties and wax are cheap to purchase locally. If you want to be on the safe side when it comes to repairs, you can insure your rental board. This means any repairs are covered, be it a tiny dent or a broken board. All damage will of course be repaired professionally and immediately. If you lose the board or parts of the board, the surfboard insurance unfortunately does not apply. In this case, the participant is liable for any loss incurred.
If you are not afraid of transport, you can of course bring your own equipment or favorite board with you. Prices for surfboard rental and insurance are 17 € per day.
About 60 minutes drive from the surf camp is Kuta. In addition to shopping malls, countless clubs, restaurants and cinemas, there is probably the largest concentration of surf shops in the world. Apart from perfect waves, there is also the unique landscape of Bali to explore: waterfalls, rice terraces, temples, volcanoes and lakes.
These are just a few of the numerous worthwhile destinations that you can book on site by arrangement. A camp driver can be booked for day trips at a reasonable price, but is also available daily for short trips to the supermarket or ATM free of charge. If you prefer to set off on your own, you can rent one of the Surf Camp Bali / Padang's rental mopeds for little money, which also have a surfboard holder.
In addition to surfing, there is of course still enough time for other activities and to explore Bali's unique culture! In addition to countless temples, royal palaces and rice terraces inland, Hindu Bali also offers plenty of shopping and dining opportunities as well as trendy hangouts in the coastal towns.
A highlight is, for example, the artist town of Ubud or the temple of Tanah Lot. A visit at sunset is recommended, so you can visit the beautiful temple, watch the last surfers in the small bay and enjoy the beautiful sunset on top.
A one-hour yoga session is offered every day, which you can take part in free of charge.
Organized volcano climbing tours, horseback riding on the beach, spa stays or diving trips - there are countless opportunities for leisure activities in Bali.
Surf guiding is also ideal for exploring Bali. The concept of our surf guiding is the daily exploration of the surrounding and more distant surf spots. Our many years of Bali experience will guide you to the best waves on the island. Depending on the conditions of the day, the wishes of the participants and the surfing level, our guests spread out in small groups across the island by car or boat. So you can take part in up to 12 surf sessions a week at different spots.

The camp cook Sunny spoils you in the morning with a rich breakfast and in the evening conjures up local and international dishes on the table. If desired, breakfast can be ordered and taken individually. With the selection of fresh fruits, shakes and much more, nothing should be left to be desired.
Included in the room price are varied local and international menus from Monday to Friday, always available as a vegetarian option. Dinner is usually eaten together by all camp guests.
Snacks and drinks are available at reasonable prices in the small camp supermarket. You will find a delicious Mexican, other cafés/restaurants and smaller food stalls right on the main street, just a few minutes' walk from the camp.

The international airport Ngurah Rai(DPS) is located in Denpasar and can be reached from Germany via Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei or Hong Kong. The 30-day visa, to be paid upon arrival, costs US$ 25 and can be paid in cash (if possible in the appropriate amount), in euros or by credit card. With a stamp or visa from Israel in the passport, problems may arise upon entry. You can travel by ferry from the west from Java and from the east from Lombok. When leaving the country, 150,000 rupiah must be paid in cash at the airport.
